FIELD: ground borehole methods of seismic prospecting. SUBSTANCE: method deals with high-resolution seismic prospecting with elimination of disadvantages coupled to use of explosives by way of employment of borehole pneumatic source of seismic signals of special design and with determination of its depth of submersion at preliminary stage of examination and of optimum value of intensity of pneumatic explosions. Characteristic feature of facility for realization of method consists in special structural implementation of pneumatic source to achieve potentially possible value of power of action. Technical result of proposed method lies in provision for high-resolution seismic prospecting with use of wide-band signal in synergy with utilization of optimum conditions of measurement and adequate values of parameters of pneumatic source of seismic signals.
