FIELD: dentistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dental abrasive instruments used in therapeutic dentistry for grinding sharp edges of a tooth, leveling enamel edges, smoothing edges of filling, and is also used for processing metal structures of prostheses in orthopedic dentistry. Dental abrasive stone is an abrasive tool, containing core from superhard abrasive material based on diamond or cubic nitride, boron and with inner and outer layers. At that, on the working part of the tool, coated with an abrasive substance based on silicon carbide, three-layer nano-coating with total thickness of 100 nanometers, consisting of: 1st layer is aluminum oxide, which is the substrate, 2nd layer is titanium oxide, 3rd layer is vanadium oxide, which dopes 2nd layer.
EFFECT: higher wear resistance and safety of use, as well as prolonged abrasive properties.
