FIELD: medical science.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to therapeutic dentistry, and is intended to provide pre-hospital medical care in case of dental caries, including complicated by pulpitis, mainly in field conditions when it is impossible to provide full dental care. Proposed temporary filling material for the treatment of deep dental caries and initial pulpitis in the field contains artificial dentin, tricalcium phosphate, an oil base, ibuprofen and an antihistamine ingredient selected from chloropyramine, azelastine, cetirizine, cyproheptadine, mequitazine and promethazine, in the following proportions, wt. %: artificial dentin – from 75.0 to 85.0, oil base – from 7.5 to 15.0, ibuprofen – from 1.0 to 5.0, chloropyramine, or azelastine, or cetirizine, or cyproheptadine, or mequitazine, or promethazine – from 0.01 to 1.0, tricalcium phosphate – 5.0-16.49. Oil base can be represented by peach oil or a mixture of peach oil and Vaseline oil in ratio of 1:10 or a mixture of peach oil, eugenol and Vaseline oil in ratio of 1:0.5:10.

EFFECT: material composition provides complex antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, desensitizing, local anaesthetic, remineralising, odontotropic and isolating action.
