SUBSTANCE: aqueous liquid composition containing acetolactate synthase herbicide as a sprouting inhibitor is used to inhibit sprouting of tubers, wherein said acetolactate synthase herbicide is imazamox. Imazamox is used in a liquid composition in amount of 100 to 250 g/l. Treatment is repeated for period of 2 to 8 months after the first treatment.
EFFECT: use of an aqueous liquid composition containing imazamox for germination inhibition provides high efficiency of preventing premature germination, high preservation of seed material.
