SUBSTANCE: pneumatic two-port connector is configured to be connected to an interface component of an ophthalmic surgical console, wherein the connector comprises a rod comprising: a first connector channel, a second connector channel, wherein the ophthalmic surgical console is configured to supply pressurized gas into the first connector channel and the second channel of the connector through the first interface channel and the second interface channel, respectively, and provides the passage of gas under pressure through the first tube and the second tube, to achieve a surgical instrument for ophthalmic surgery and activation of a surgical instrument for ophthalmic surgery.
EFFECT: creation of a two-port pneumatic connector for a surgical system.
