FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surgery and can be used for application of surgical clips on vessels, ducts, bypasses, etc. In accordance with version of realisation, device for application of surgical clips contains case with sear and rod. Sear is connected with possibility of travel with case. Rod extends from case with opposing clamps, made at distal end of rod. Sear is made with possibility of clip pushing out for installation of clip into position between clamps and movement of clamps from open position into closed position for swaging clip, located between said clamps. Device for application of surgical clips can contain various elements for facilitation of its application, including elements for matching clip with clamps, elements for prevention of unintentional clip displacement and elements for prevention of clip falling out during its shaping.
EFFECT: accidental falling out of clip from device before it obtains desired shape is prevented.
