FIELD: musical instruments.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of stringed musical instruments, namely to the design of electric musical instruments converting mechanical vibrations of strings into electric signals. Automatic single-string guitars for performance of a given melody comprises a body, a string, a peg, a saddle, a string holder, a sound pickup, a string vibration analyser, a sound generator, control module, vibration motor, indicators, display, buttons for selecting a musical composition, a stop button, a start button and sound adjustment controls. Melody from the output of the sound generator is transmitted to a digital audio output with the possibility of connecting to an audio system.
EFFECT: significant simplification of the design and the possibility of deliberately making changes to the rhythm being executed (for example, syncopation), as well as, if desired, controlling the obtained sound.
