FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to trailer braking systems. A double-acting working cylinder is fixed to the trailer frame in front of the trailer running axle, with its rod facing the trailer running axle, located horizontally in a longitudinal vertical plane intersecting the midpoints of the tractor running axles. Piston cavities of the main brake and working cylinders are connected to each other by a hydraulic line, and stock cavities of these cylinders are also connected by a hydraulic line. Trailer running wheels are rotary in horizontal plane, hubs of which are fixed on steering knuckles connected by means of vertically located pins to trailer running axle. Each of the rotary knuckles is made integral with the rotary lever, besides, the rotary levers are located coaxially to the trailer running axle in the transverse vertical plane, and free ends of the rotary levers are pivotally connected to the rod of the working cylinder.
EFFECT: providing trailer braking at tractor braking due to synchronous rotation of its wheels rotation axes relative to vertical pins, which leads to partial sliding of wheels relative to movement surface.
