FIELD: military equipment; measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparation of artillery devices for combat use and concerns operation with artillery director “ПАБ-2А” at dusk or at night. “ПАБ-2А” director attachment consists of a housing with skewed faces of the dovetail type, in which a light-emitting diode for illumination of the director grid, two switches, battery contacts and an RJ-11 connector socket are connected by hot soldering. Plug of the RJ-11 connector and the second light-emitting diode in the socket are fixed at the ends of a telephone cable with length of 150 mm, after which they are connected to the housing of the universal attachment. Assembled “ПАБ-2А” director attachment is fixed on the director monocular plank above the window for illumination of the director grid, and when operating with the artillery “ПАБ-2А” director at dusk or at night, the illumination of the director grid, the ball bearing and the scales of the “ПАБ-2А” director is switched on.
EFFECT: enabling illumination of the director grid, the “ПАБ-2А” director itself when aiming optical instruments at the director during performance of combat missions in conditions of poor visibility and illumination of the director (goniometric) ring and drum scales when reading/setting readings on the director scales.
