FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for preparation of artillery devices for combat use. PAB-2A director self-locking attachment consists of a body containing a slot with beveled faces of the "dovetail" type, in which two LEDs are connected by hot soldering for illumination of the director grid and the director itself, as well as a switch, battery contacts. At the same time slot with beveled edges of “dovetail” type in lower surface of nozzle is limited by projection at distance of 12 mm from centre of hole for light-emitting diode for illumination of director grid. Self-locking attachment is fixed on the director monocular plank above the director grid illumination window when moving along the director monocular plank faces until the ledge on the lower surface of the attachment rests on the rear end of the director monocular plank.
EFFECT: rigid fixation of the attachment on the plank of the director monocular, reduced time for installation of the light-emitting diode and for transfer of the director to the firing position.
