FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of determining relative phase permeabilities (RPP) for oil and water. A filtration experiment is carried out on 100% water-saturated core model to simulate the process of temporary underground storage of oil in an aquifer by stationary filtration. In the course of the experiment, the process of pumping and withdrawing oil from the water-saturated model is simulated in a cyclic mode by stationary two-phase filtration of oil and water through a core model at different phase ratios. In the process of filtration, RPP for oil and water is determined. Oil and water RPP curves are plotted depending on water saturation for all oil injection and withdrawal cycles from water-saturated model. RPP is assessed between stages and cycles of experiment.
EFFECT: determination of RPP for oil and water when simulating the process of underground storage of oil.
