FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for combined production and separation of 1-(2-amino-4-R-phenyl)benzotriazole and 2-(2-amino-4-R-phenyl)benzotriazole, which consists in the fact that reduction of mixture of 1-(2-nitro-4-R-phenyl)- and 2-(2-nitro-4-R-phenyl)benzotriazoles, obtained during reaction of 2-nitro-1-chloro-4-R-benzene with benzotriazole in DMF in the presence of potassium carbonate, SnCl2·2H2O is carried out, after which 1-(2-amino-4-R-phenyl)benzotriazole and 2-(2-amino-4-R-phenyl)benzotriazole are isolated in individual form by treating the obtained dry residue with hot petroleum ether, in which 2-(2-amino-4-R-phenyl)benzotriazole is dissolved, and 1-(2-amino-4-R-phenyl)benzotriazole remains unsolved, wherein R is H, Cl, COOEt, CF3 or CN.
EFFECT: reducing the number of technological steps of the synthesis process, simplifying the separation procedure and increasing output of 1-(2-amino-4-R-phenyl)benzotriazoles and 2-(2-amino-4-R-phenyl)benzotriazoles.
