FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing 2-(1,2,3-thiadiazol-4-yl)benzylamine hydrochloride. Disclosed method is based on reaction of 1-[2-(1,2,3-thiadiazol-4-yl)benzyl]-1,3,5,7-tetraazaadamantanilium bromide with hydrogen chloride in molar ratio of 1:5 in ethanol at 75°C for 1 hour, filtering the reaction mass to separate ammonium salts, evaporating the filtrate to dryness, suspending the residue in a mixture of ethyl acetate and hexane in a volume ratio of 1:2, filtering and drying. Invention also relates to a method of producing bromide 1-[2-(1,2,3-thiadiazol-4-yl)benzyl]-1,3,5,7-tetraazaadamantanilium 4-(2-bromomethylphenyl)-1,2,3-thiadiazole with 1,3,5,7-tetraazaadamantane and a method of producing 4-(2-bromomethylphenyl)-1,2,3-thiadiazole.
EFFECT: disclosed method for synthesis of 2-(1,2,3-thiadiazol-4-yl)benzylamine hydrochloride is cheaper and is characterized by less waste solvents and waste water.
