FIELD: fire-fighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a mobile modular installation for extinguishing a fire of oil and gas fountains. Installation contains one or more mobile units of specified capacity for fire extinguishing of oil and gas fountains, each unit is a frame with equipment for gas powder fire extinguishing, wherein the frame is made in the form of a three-dimensional structure comprising an upper part, a base and side posts, and the gas-powder fire extinguishing equipment is fixed on the frame, wherein the frame in the upper part comprises means for suspending the unit to the air vehicle and transporting the unit by air to the fire extinguishing site, and at the base the frame comprises means for connecting the unit with one or more ground vehicles and transporting the unit along the ground to the working platform, wherein air- and ground-delivered units are used for mounting installation with pre-set capacity depending on flow rate of fountain for fire extinguishing of oil-and-gas fountains.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of fire extinguishing of oil and gas fountain depending on flow rate of fountain.
