FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions includes a sealed device for leaching cobalt from polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) and a method of leaching cobalt from PDC using said device. Sealed device comprises base 1, upper part of which comprises first slot 5, chemical solution retainer 2 located above base 1, sealing cover 3 located above chemical solution retainer 2. Lower part of the device for holding chemical solution 2 is connected to base 1 with possibility of disconnection. Inside the device for holding chemical solution 2 there is a holding through hole 10 passing upwards and downwards. Polycrystalline diamond compact is placed in the first slot so that only its diamond layer is in contact with the reagent for leaching cobalt, and the reagent for leaching cobalt is supplied to the upper part of the polycrystalline diamond compact.
EFFECT: stabilization of the process of leaching cobalt from the polycrystalline diamond compact, uniformity of the depth of leaching of cobalt, as well as protection of the substrate from the hard alloy under the composite layer and preventing volatilization of the reagent for leaching cobalt, leading to environmental pollution and harm to the human body.
