FIELD: agriculture; veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: device for assessing the exterior of animals is made in the form of a frame lattice structure with the possibility of independent entry of the animal and being inside during performance of procedures and includes a frame from rolled tubes and a floor. Device is made in the form of a through structure providing free entry and exit of the animal. Device additionally includes lighting equipment installed on the frame, equipment for photographic and/or video recording of an animal from five points, control and measuring equipment, wherein the lighting equipment is installed in the roof of the device. Overall dimensions, material from which the frame and floor of the device are made, as well as the thickness of the walls and the number of parts forming the frame and the floor of the device and providing strength of the device, which is sufficient for transportation, unloading of the device from a vehicle, operation and loading onto a vehicle, allow transportation of the device on vehicles of categories N1, N2, O1, O2, O3.
EFFECT: invention can be used also for assessment of exterior when performing appraisal of farm animals.
