FIELD: production of composite materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of high-strength composite materials based on fibrous fillers and epoxy binders, which can be used in aircraft engineering, rocketry, shipbuilding, automotive industry and in other industries. Disclosed is an epoxy binder for reinforced plastics, comprising (wt.pts.) epoxy resin based on bisphenol A (100), hardener isomethyltetrahydrophthalic anhydride (89–90), curing accelerator 2-methylimidazole (0.21–0.22) and thermoplastic modifier, which is carded polyarylene ether ketone with phthalide group (2.5–20).

EFFECT: high flexural modulus and glass transition temperature of the cured binder.
