FIELD: various technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for dry or wet grinding of mineral raw materials and semi-finished products, mainly having a layered structure, such as graphite and molybdenum disulphide, in chemical industry and other industries. Sectional rod mill comprises main drum 1, inside which there is an even number of additional drums connected to the main drum, rotation drive, initial material loading unit, finished material unloading unit, grinding rods 6, connected to each other by flexible links and located inside drums, diameter of each additional drum is from 0.8 to 0.9 of the diameter of the drum in which it is placed, and the length of each additional drum is from 0.9 to 0.95 of the length of the drum in which it is placed. When numbering additional drums, starting from main drum 1, the end edges of the additional drums having odd numbers coincide with the unloading edge of main drum 1, and the end edges of the additional drums having even numbers coincide with the loading edge of the main drum. Each shell is divided along the length by separating rings 8 connected to this shell, at least into two sections and weight of rods in section number i, starting from the initial material loading unit, is determined by the formula mi=kmi-1, where mi is weight of rod in section number i, mi-1 is weight of rod in section number i-1, i is section number 2,3,...N, k is coefficient of mass increase more than 1.1, wherein outer radius of separating ring 8 is equal to RORg=RD – RRd, and inner radius of separating ring 8 is RIRg=RD – 2RRd, where RD is the radius of the drum, in which the separating ring is installed, RRd is radius of grinding rods in previous section.

EFFECT: sectioned rod-type drum mill increases grinding intensity.
