FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: pneumatic aerator relates to aeration devices and can be used in biological treatment of waste water in aeration tanks with active sludge or in aeration of water bodies. Aerator consists of a cylindrical perforated body and an elastic ring fitted thereon. Perforation represents two rows of holes in cylindrical housing, located at some distance from each other in planes perpendicular to housing axis. Elastic ring relative to each row of perforation holes is located so that the edge of the elastic ring covers the holes from liquid medium. Special elements are provided on the aerator body to prevent displacement of the elastic ring along the body axis. Aerator can be used in aeration tanks with periodic aeration. Several aerators can be technologically integrated in one housing. Combination of aerators in one housing makes it possible to develop different versions of such combined aerators with different orientation in space.
EFFECT: increased service life of the aerator.
