FIELD: environmental protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to environmental protection and can be used for sorption post-treatment of waste water from coal mining, chemical, metallurgical and other industries, characterized by the presence of contaminants of both organic and inorganic nature, for example, benzene, phenol, manganese ions, iron, etc. Automated adsorber for waste water treatment comprises a cylindrical housing with horizontal perforated partitions, a pulsator, a perforated false bottom, hopper with vane feeder, screw chamber with auger and sluice device, vane feeder motor rotation speed sensor, pulsator motor rotation speed sensor, contaminants concentration sensors in initial waste water and purified water, used adsorbent level sensor, initial waste water flow sensor, indicator of maximum concentration of contaminants in purified water, indicator of maximum level of spent adsorbent, indicator of minimum level of dry adsorbent in hopper, control units for motors of a vane feeder, a pulsator and a screw with a sluice device, correcting units of the vane feeder and pulsator motors.
EFFECT: optimized use of adsorbent while ensuring required quality of waste water treatment.
