FIELD: equipment for drying of dispersion materials used in microbiological, food-processing, chemical and other branches of industry.

SUBSTANCE: drying apparatus has drying chamber with supporting grid, firebox with mixing chamber, turboblower, wet material charging device, discharge device, dust removal system consisting of two sequentially operating cyclones, dust collecting hoppers connected to single dust collector from which dust is fed by means of vertical screw into charging device. Sound emitter is positioned under supporting grid of drying chamber, with acoustic wave frequency of sound emitter ranging between 15 kHz and 16 kHz and sound intensity of from 2 W/s to 3 W/s. Duration of treatment by means of sound emitter ranges between 2 min and 5 min. One of dust cleaning cyclones is of acoustic type and has built-in acoustic unit with following sound treating parameters for average-dispersion dust: sound pressure level of 140 dB and more, vibrating motion frequency of 900 Hz, concentration of dust in air flow not less than 2 g/m³, sonification time of 1.5-2 s, and other of dust cleaning cyclones is of battery type. Fan has recirculation valve for directing used and cleaned gases through pipeline into mixing chamber of firebox.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of drying apparatus.
