METHOD FOR THERMAL IMAGING OF RECEPTIVE FIELDS WITH DISTURBED NOCICEPTIVE SENSITIVITY Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61B5/01

Abstract RU 2826552 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrumental diagnostic techniques, and can be used for remote detection of skin receptive fields with disturbed nociceptive sensitivity by thermal imaging. Initial thermography is performed for selected area of patient’s body surface, which is carried out with an emissivity in range of 0.9 to 0.92, a thermal imaging camera temperature scale, the minimum value of the range of which is not less than 18 °C, but not more than 33 °C, and the maximum value of the range is not lower than the temperature on the surface of the patient's body at the moment of the beginning of thermography plus 2 °C with rounding up to whole values. Further, the selected area of the patient's body is sequentially exposed for 3–5 seconds by means of a series of provocations, after each provocation thermography of the selected area of patient’s body surface is performed. After 5–30 seconds from the beginning of the provocation, a final thermogram is obtained, which is compared with the initial thermogram, if a zone with a negative or positive temperature gradient is detected on a selected area of the patient's body, then it is identified and referred to a receptor type in accordance with the type of provocation.

EFFECT: method enables diagnosing the patient's nervous system even before the formation of a stable pattern of disruption of any of the body systems, to form a treatment and rehabilitation plan by detecting disturbances in the receptor apparatus due to temperature change due to a targeted specific provocative effect.
