FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry, namely to application of coatings on spherical granules. Device for application of coatings on spherical granules comprises working chamber accommodating fluidised bed former of coated granules and film-forming agent solution sprayer. Working chamber is made in the form of a thermostated hollow cylinder with a bottom and a cover. In the cylinder there is a shaft connected coaxially with the drive engaged on the cover, on the shaft’s part facing the cover the fan impeller is fixed. Impeller performs the function of a sprayer of liquid drops falling on it from the unions located on the cover and connected to the dispensers for supply of the binding glue and suspension with the coating substance. In the lower part of the shaft there is a mixer of coated granules located at the bottom of the working chamber, in the body of which there are nozzles of the fluidized bed former, which are evenly distributed along its surface. Nozzles are connected via a heated pipeline – distributor with an air compressor equipped with a regulator and an air flow meter. Inner volume of the working chamber is connected to a vacuum pump through a cryostatted separator.

EFFECT: formation of resistant coatings on the surface of spherical granules, having minimum number of coating defects.
