SUBSTANCE: belt conveyor roller with a device for additional sealing of the labyrinth seal and a self-cleaning system consists of a shell, inside which a bearing housing is pressed, into which a bearing is pressed by its outer cage, in its turn, the bearing with its inner cage is pressed onto the fixed axis, a labyrinth seal is installed inside the bearing housing, which prevents penetration of water, dust and abrasives into the bearing, retaining ring inserted into annular groove, which retains labyrinth seal and bearing against axial movement. In the shell closer to the edge along the entire diameter through equal gaps holes are drilled through which water enters the shell, and then, through holes in the bearing housing, water enters the housing, envelopes the protective washer and flows out through similar holes in the lower part of the housing and in the shell, washing away the dust and abrasive inside the housing. On the inner side, an impeller is additionally welded to the bearing housing, which is a steel disc with thickness of 2 mm with blades in the form of rectangular plates welded to it.

EFFECT: increasing the service life of the seal and bearing unit of belt conveyor rollers.
