FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: induction crucible electric furnace with closed magnetic core comprises frame and is made with closed annular cavity for arrangement of inductor, wherein the closed annular cavity for the inductor arrangement is a closed magnetic core, note here that said magnetic core is assembled by mixing plates of electrical steel sheets to create inner and outer parts of magnetic core to form a closed circular cavity around the inductor and with the absence of electrically closed circuits in the magnetic circuit, wherein the magnetic core is electrically insulated from the furnace frame. Said plates are isolated from each other, and the plates of the inner part of the magnetic core have a smaller width of the vertical part than the plates of the outer part.

EFFECT: higher safety and efficiency.
