SUBSTANCE: invention relates to valves designed for instantaneous pressure release in order to protect structures and equipment from excessive pressures. Emergency valve comprises base, compressible working element and holder of compressible working element. Base includes at least two interconnected parts having coaxial through working holes. Between the said parts of the base there is a rupture element covering the working holes of the said parts of the base. Holder has a first part connected to the base and a second part located in the working hole of one of the parts of the base and mounted on the rupture element on the side facing the first part of the holder. Compressible working element is located between the first and second parts of the holder, contacts by its opposite ends with the corresponding part of the holder and is made with possibility of deformation at critical load on it by the second part of the holder.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving repairability of working equipment in case of valve actuation, increasing safety and reliability of operation of structures used for storage or transportation of flammable liquid or gas products due to provision of instantaneous release of excess pressure.
