FIELD: window structures.

SUBSTANCE: folding window comprises a window frame connected by means of hinges to a flap consisting of a double-glazed window enclosed in a frame made of interconnected outer and inner parts, whereas the inner part of the frame is equipped with a mechanism for controlling the position of the sash, including a handle with a pin, the free end of which is connected to a rocker arm, on which a pin is attached, connected to a rod configured to move in the vertical direction, and at the end of the rod an inclined protrusion is formed, configured to interact with a corresponding groove formed on the edge of a plate configured to move in the horizontal direction and equipped with a latch configured to engage with a protrusion formed on the window frame.

EFFECT: increased safety of using the window in the open position, increased light transmission, and also smaller weight of the window by reducing the material consumption of both the polymer frame of the window sash itself and the mechanism included in it to control its position.
