SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for eliminating vibrations from internal and external sources when reproducing sound and can be used when playing gramophone records, as well as in other fields of technology, where it is required to reduce the effect of vibration on operation of equipment. Device for tonearm lever damping is a sealed vessel filled with viscous liquid, at that, in the lower part of the vessel there are prismatic legs with through holes, inside the sealed vessel there is a load made of material with high density so as not to touch the walls of the sealed vessel mounted on the tonearm, load is suspended by means of flexible non-stretchable thread neutral to chemical action of viscous liquid, fixed in maximum possible upper part of sealed vessel opposite to prismatic legs.

EFFECT: high accuracy of operation of audio equipment.
