FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: worn device for automatic injection for provision of hypodermic injection of therapeutic agent into patient's body contains case, injection unit, vessel for containing therapeutic agent, plunger, plunger-activating mechanism, withdrawal initiator and withdrawal mechanism. Case contains section of contact with patient, made with possibility of fixation on patient's body. Injection unit, movably placed in case, holds needle for hypodermic injection, intended for introduction into patient's body. Injection unit is made with possibility of travel between withdrawn position, in which injection needle does not project beyond case limits, and projected position, in which injection needle projects outside from case. Vessel is located in case. Plunger is movably placed inside vessel for pushing out therapeutic agent from vessel into injection unit. Plunger-activating mechanism is intended for plunger activation with application of mechanical or hydraulic mechanism inside vessel. Withdrawal initiator is made with possibility of changing condition of worn device for automatic injection from condition of injection into post-injection condition. Device enters post-injection condition when supply of therapeutically effective dose of therapeutic agent is finished and when worn device for automatic injection is removed from patient's body before supply of therapeutically effective dose of therapeutic agent is finished. Withdrawal mechanism is intended for automatic withdrawal of injection unit from projected position in injection condition into withdrawn position in post-injection condition, after initiation by withdrawal initiator. Method of hypodermic injection of therapeutic agent into patient's body contains the following stages: said worn device for automatic injection is provided; worn device for automatic injection is fixed on patient's skin or on patient's clothes item, with application of contact of patient with case, therapeutic agent is introduced into patient's skin, using worn device for automatic injection.

EFFECT: inventions make it possible to reduce or eliminate sensation of burning pain, which often arises or is perceived by patients, who use usual device for automatic injection, support sterility of container with therapeutic agent, are simple in use, are made with possibility of their preliminary filling, are simple in production and/or do not require aseptic assembly.
