FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method of extracting gold from gold-bearing ore processing wastes in a corresponding furnace. Raw material for extraction of precious metal is coal fines (CF), that is a mixture of activated carbon dried to moisture content of 4.8%, added as an absorbent to pulp, with crushed solid particles of processed gold-bearing ore, which is burnt in a furnace and solid gold-containing reagents are extracted. Furnace is heated to 400 °C and CF is loaded into the furnace. Upon reaching 600 °C, flame burner is switched off. CF is burnt at 600–1100 °C. Gold-bearing solid reagents are separated from gaseous ones: relatively heavy solid reagents - in the sedimentation chambers of the furnace, less heavy - in the cyclone, even less heavy - in the bag filter, the least heavy solid reagents - in the scrubber, after which they are removed from the sedimentation chambers of the furnace, cyclone, bag filter and scrubber. Coal cake from the combustion chamber of the furnace is crushed to particle size of up to 1 mm. Content of activated carbon in CF is checked.
EFFECT: if content of activated carbon in CF is less than one percent, all obtained solid reagents are combined with crushed coal sinter and transferred to flotation.
