FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology. Working surface of cold plasma coblator is brought under control of endoscope to polyp leg. Using an electrode, the head of which is directed upwards, in the ablation mode, a leg of the polyp is first removed, and then the polyp itself separated from the leg. An endoscope equipped with an optical chamber is placed at the nasal septum, and the coblator is placed below the chamber so as not to damage it by heat and not to close the view of the visualized region.
EFFECT: method enables higher clinical effectiveness in chronic polypous rhinosinusitis, eliminating the risk of recurrent nasal polyps.
