FIELD: cryogenic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: systems and methods are described, including provision of a valve which is acceptable to ensure tightness and prevent passage of fluid medium through the valve at cryogenic temperatures. Valve includes a valve body having a longitudinal axis along the flow passage through the valve, a ball, configured to selectively rotate within the valve body to selectively allow passage of fluid through the valve, a cavity of the seat insert formed inside the valve body, and a seat insert assembly at least partially located within the cavity of the seat insert. Seat insert assembly includes a seat insert, comprising at least one sealing bead and a support ring engaged with the inner surface of at least one sealing bead and made with possibility of pressing at least one sealing bead outward to inner surface defining part of seat insert cavity, note here that said at least one sealing collar comprises a plurality of sealing collars pressed by a support ring and comprising a plurality of sealing ledges, teeth or rollers.
EFFECT: disclosed is a saddle insert for a cryogenic ball valve.
