FIELD: aerosol systems.

SUBSTANCE: aerosol delivery device and embodiments of a device for transporting an aerosol precursor composition. The aerosol delivery device comprises a housing defining a refillable reservoir for storing an aerosol precursor composition, the housing being configured to allow air to flow through at least a part of the housing, the air being suitable for mixing with vapor generated from the aerosol precursor composition for obtaining an aerosol, and an adapter connected to the housing and made with the possibility of a detachable tight connection with the container for refilling the tank with the aerosol precursor composition, and the adapter is made with the possibility of interacting with the valve of the container during the refilling of the tank and contains a body forming a separate and different filling and air channels. The filling channel is configured to transfer the aerosol precursor composition from the container to the reservoir during the interaction of the adapter and the valve, in which the air channel is closed by the valve to prevent the passage of the aerosol precursor composition through the air channel, and the air channel is configured to pass the air flow through at least part of the housing when the adapter and valve are out of interaction.

EFFECT: safe refilling of aerosol delivery devices with the aerosol precursor composition.
