SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an article for delivering a flavouring substance, a cartridge and/or an aerosol delivery device which includes such an article for delivering a flavouring substance or a component thereof. Product for delivery of a flavouring substance includes a flavouring substrate which can be formed from a porous material having a gradually varying porosity at least in its part. Flavouring substrate also includes a flavouring material retained in this way. Flavouring substrate can be located inside the outer shell of the product for delivering a flavouring substance, and the flavour delivery article can be located in any place within the aerosol delivery device (or the mouthpiece or the cartridge of the aerosol delivery device), wherein the flavouring substrate, which retains the flavouring material, can be in contact with the gaseous stream, such as a steam flow and/or an aerosol flow formed in the aerosol delivery device so that the flavour material can be entrapped in the steam flow and/or the aerosol flow.

EFFECT: invention enables to create a cartridge configured to add one or more flavouring substances to an aerosol precursor composition at the request of the user.
