FIELD: heating systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to electric power engineering and can be used for supplying hot water to domestic and industrial objects having cold water pipeline. Electric water heater includes vertical tanks 1 and 2 located in heat-insulated housing 4, tube 7 for cold water supply, tube 9 for hot water discharge, heating element 11 with temperature control 18. New feature is introduction of distributing headers 8 and 10 of cold and hot water to the device, which are connected to tubes 7 and 9 of cold water supply and hot water discharge respectively, arrangement of heating element 11 between tanks 1 and 2 with possibility of thermal contact with them, all-metal weld-free tanks 1 and 2 with upper and lower necks 14 and 15 in which there tightly installed are tubes 16 for hot water discharge and tubes 17 for cold water supply to each tank; at that, outlets of tubes 17 for cold water supply to each tank are connected to outlets of header 8, and inlets of tubes 16 for hot water discharge from each tank are connected to inlet of header 10. In lower part of water heater there is access hole 19 for erection/removal of heating element 11.
EFFECT: reducing power consumption, increasing reliability, maintainability, electric safety, fire safety and increasing life time of electric water heater.
