FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to a cover for a medical injection device, a method for manufacturing thereof and a medical injection device. Cap for a medical injection device having a cannula portion at the distal end comprises an outer housing, an inner housing and a radio frequency identification (RFID) mark. Outer housing is made of first material and comprises inner wall having a circumference. Inner body is made of a second material different from the first material and forms a cavity configured to receive at least a portion of the cannula portion. Inner casing comprises outer wall with circumference, at least partially inserted inside outer casing and at least partially contacts with inner wall of outer casing. RFID label is located between external housing and inner housing. RFID tag comprises an RFID chip connected to at least one RFID antenna. RFID mark has a width extending through 40–100%, excluding 100%, of the circumference of the outer wall of the inner housing or the entire circumference of the inner wall of the outer housing. RFID mark has a length extending over at least 50 % of the length of the cover. Medical injection device comprises a cannula portion and said cover. Method of making said cover, comprising steps of: A) taking an inner body having an outer wall and an outer body having an inner wall, wherein the inner body forms a receiving cavity, with provision for tightness, of at least a portion of the cannula portion located at the distal end of the medical injection device, and B) placing the RFID mark between the outer wall of the inner housing and the inner wall of the outer housing.
EFFECT: using the group of inventions enables identifying the medical injection device without affecting visual inspection with limited effect on the manufacturing process.
