FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to syringes. Syringe comprises a tubular cylinder for receiving a medical product, a plastic flange protruding relative to the outer surface of the said cylinder so as to provide support for the user's fingers. Said plastic flange forms a hole. Said opening is surrounded by a peripheral collar, said collar provides support for the user's fingers. Flange comprises a through passage for a piston rod to pass through it into the reservoir formed by the tubular cylinder of the syringe and connecting means for connecting the said flange to the outer surface of the tubular cylinder of the syringe. Flange further comprises a remotely readable electronic component for remote identification of the syringe. Said remote-readable electronic component is at least partially embedded in the plastic flange.
