FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical and polymer industry, specifically to production of goods for modifying polymer materials and composite materials based on various polymer matrices, and can be used in making polymer composite materials. Method of reducing shrinkage of polymer composite materials involves adding carbon fibre in amount of 30 wt.%. Additionally, an organomineral modifying complex NKM-D750U is added, which contains basic magnesium carbonate – 98 wt.% and paraffin in amount of 2 wt.%, in amount of 0.2 wt.%.

EFFECT: reduction of shrinkage of the polymer composite material to a value lower than that of the prototype – a method of reducing shrinkage with reinforcement with carbon fibre using available and cheap raw material components.
