FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing cast urethane elastomers intended for operation at high temperatures. Described is a method of producing cast urethane elastomers, according to which a prepolymer is first synthesized based on an oligoester of polyethylene butylene glycol adipate with molecular weight of 2,000 and isophorone diisocyanate and a curing mixture based on said polyethylene butylene glycol adipate, 3,3'-dichloro-4,4'-diaminodiphenylmethane and 1,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)-o-carborane is prepared. Further, the prepolymer is mixed with the curing mixture and cured.
EFFECT: obtaining urethane elastomers with breaking strength (at 23 °C) is not less than 40 MPa and longer period of maintaining high level of strength at temperature of 100 °C.
