FIELD: chemistry; heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to materials suitable for carrying out exothermic reactions with extraction of heat for heating the environment. Disclosed are two versions of an exothermic chemical mixture for carrying out exothermic reactions, comprising a powder of a mixture of aluminum with a reaction initiator, which is calcium oxide with particle size of 200–1,000 mcm, powder of a mixture of regulators with particle size of 250–500 mcm, where the regulator powder I is sodium sulphate, or sodium hydrogen phosphate, or sodium bicarbonate, or sodium carbonate, and the powder of regulator II is potassium sulphate, or potassium hydrophosphate, or potassium bicarbonate, or potassium carbonate, wherein the first version contains, wt.%: 10–15 of aluminum powder, 73–78 of calcium oxide, 9–4 of powder of regulator I and 8–3 of powder of regulator II, and the second version contains, wt.%: 10–20 of aluminum powder, 68–72 of calcium oxide, 3–5 of dry peroxide, 9–2 of powder of regulator I and 10–1 of powder of regulator II.
EFFECT: high specific heat release per unit weight of the product with complete controlled temperature rise to the desired and for the desired period of time during the implementation of the exothermic chemical mixture, which does not release secondary explosive and electrolyte-inactive substances.
