FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of fire-resistant rubber mixtures and can be used in oil refining, mining, as well as in fire extinguishing systems. Described is a fire-resistant rubber mixture for the oil refining, mining industry, as well as fire extinguishing systems, which includes chloroprene rubber, a vulcanising group, a filler, plasticisers-fire retardants, wherein the vulcanising group used is sulphur, CBS accelerator, burnt magnesia and zinc oxide, the filler used is magnesium hydrosilicate, and the plasticisers-fire retardants are chlorinated paraffin wax and trichloropropyl phosphate, with the following ratio of components, wt.pts.: chloroprene rubber – 100; sulphur – 1.6; CBS accelerator – 1.6; burnt magnesia – 2.4; zinc oxide – 5.2; magnesium hydrosilicate – 224.6; chlorinated paraffin wax – 32.8; trichloropropyl phosphate – 7.2.
EFFECT: improved elastic-strength properties, increased fire resistance and high values of oxygen index and coke number.
