SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to pharmaceutics, specifically to embodiments of a pharmaceutical composition for treating hypertension and a method of treating hypertension in a subject in need thereof by oral administration of said composition to the subject. In one embodiment, the pharmaceutical composition contains: 8–12 mg of telmisartan; 0.5–0.75 mg of indapamide; 1–1.5 mg of amlodipine besylate; at least one hypocholesterolemic active agent containing a combination of ezetimibe 10 mg and rosuvastatin 10 mg. In another embodiment, the pharmaceutical composition contains: Telmisartan 16–24 mg; 1–1.5 mg of indapamide; 2–3 mg of amlodipine besylate; at least one hypocholesterolemic active agent containing a combination of ezetimibe 10 mg and rosuvastatin 10 mg.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides preventing or reducing side effects due to the use of active agents in low doses, as well as improved therapeutic effects in treating hypertension due to synergetic action.
