FIELD: mining and processing industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dressing of potassium ores. Method of potassium ore preparation for its electrostatic enrichment includes ore grinding, classification, vacuum drying, conditioning with reagent, tribocharging by mechanical mixing of ore. Ore after vacuum drying, during mechanical mixing, is subjected to additional charging with ionized aerosol of dry fine halite and reagent, compressed air drying is used to form ionized aerosol by using compressed air flow swirling energy and its separation into hot and cold jet, by passing a jet of compressed cold air, fine halite and a reagent through channels from a dielectric material.
EFFECT: high contrast of surface electrical properties of the main minerals of potassium ore, more efficient dry dressing of ore by electric separation.
