FIELD: electric heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heating cables. Increased sensitivity in the region of negative temperatures is ensured by the fact that the heating cable consists of two longitudinal copper conductors twisted between each other, each of which is covered with a current-conducting sheath with a positive dependence of resistance on temperature. Between the cores shells contact is provided, which provides the possibility of formation of transverse currents between the specified cores along the specified cores shells contacts. Both conductors are covered with common electric insulating shell with coefficient of thermal expansion not less than value of thermal expansion coefficient of current-conducting conductors shells.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of using a heating self-regulating cable in conditions of extremely low temperatures due to increased sensitivity in the region of negative temperatures.
