FIELD: electrical devices; heating cables.
SUBSTANCE: self-regulating heating cable consists of a coaxially located central conductor and a ring conductor, between which there is a ring layer. The annular layer is made in the form of an electrically conductive thermosensitive polymer matrix made of polyorganosiloxane rubber with a thermal resistance coefficient of 0.0035°C/Ohm up to 0.0045°C/Ohm. On top of the ring conductor is an electrically insulating shell made of polyolefin with a thermal expansion coefficient of 0.015°C/W up to 0.025°C/W.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to create a symmetrical radial heating field of a self-regulating heating cable under conditions of extremely low temperatures.
