FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for manufacturing a non-magnetic bimetallic protective element of a rotary controlled system housing. Activated nonmagnetic powder mix is deposited on the workpiece of said element from nonmagnetic steel and subjected to thermal treatment. Said non-magnetic steel is represented by austenitic chromium-manganese-nickel steel. Activated non-magnetic powder mixture is an activated nonmagnetic powder mixture based on tungsten carbide containing tungsten carbide powder and “ПРНХ-16СРЗ” powder or an activated non-magnetic powder mixture based on titanium carbide containing titanium carbide powder and “ПРНХ-16СРЗ” powder. Said workpiece is pre-quenched and prior to said laser surfacing, quenched workpiece is heated to temperature of 300-400 °C. After said laser surfacing, thermal treatment of the built-up workpiece is carried out by heating at rate of 10-15 °C/s to temperature 680-750 °C, holding for 1.5-2 hours and cooling at rate of 0.2-0.5 °C/s.
EFFECT: manufacturing of non-magnetic bimetallic protective element of rotor controlled system housing for operation under conditions of intensive hydroabrasive-impact action at directional drilling of hard-to-reach oil formations.
