SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to veterinary science. For treating gastritis in animals, a mixture of preparations is prepared: aluminium hydroxide, inulin and a flavouring agent with a meat smell, in the following ratio, wt.%: aluminium hydroxide powder – 40-45, inulin powder – 40-45, meat flavouring agent – 10-20. 100-500 mg of this mixture is administered orally 2-4 times day for 6 days.

EFFECT: method is simple; it allows using the mixture in the form of a suspension or in a capsule; the mixture used consists of available components; it effectively treats gastritis in animals.
