FIELD: medicine; veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental, veterinary medicine and consists in simulating chemical gastritis in laboratory animals. Non-inbred rats are single orally administered with 0.1 mg of potassium permanganate crystals in a bolus consisting of prime grade wheat flour mixed with water at ratio of 1 gram of flour to 1 ml of water 4 hours before feeding.
EFFECT: invention provides 100% simulation of gastritis and fully reflects a picture of gastric damage accompanying gastritis caused by chemical exposure on the gastric mucosa.
