FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, and concerns a method for preparing a gel agent for remineralisation of dental hard tissues, which can be used as a caries prophylactic agent and for treating initial caries and dental hyperesthesia. In the proposed method, the initial components used are calcium glycerophosphate, potassium dihydroorthophosphate, potassium sorbate; based on them, aqueous solutions of calcium glycerophosphate, potassium dihydroorthophosphate and potassium sorbate are obtained so that in the finished gel agent the calcium content is 0.5%, the phosphorus content is 2%, the potassium sorbate content is 0.2%; then the calcium glycerophosphate solution, as well as the potassium dihydroorthophosphate and potassium sorbate solution are mixed with equal volumes of hot 6% aqueous solutions of carboxymethyl cellulose; combined by adding a mixture of potassium dihydroorthophosphate and potassium sorbate to calcium glycerophosphate; stirring and pH of the ready gel is adjusted using 40 % KOH solution to value of 7.0±0.2.

EFFECT: use of the method enables to obtain a gel agent containing calcium and phosphate ions, which provide remineralisation of tooth enamel, having a neutral reaction of the medium and taste, as well as a long storage life at room temperature; obtained agent can be used at home.
