FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely pediatric dentistry, and may be used for preventing dental caries in children. Method of obtaining a calcium-phosphate-fluorine-containing gel for tooth enamel remineralisation in children involves preparation of an aqueous solution of a calcium salt, an aqueous solution of phosphate salts and fluoride, mixing them with hot aqueous solutions of sodium salt of carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) and after cooling with each other. Initial components used are dehydrated calcium chloride, potassium dihydrophosphate, sodium fluoride, on their basis aqueous solutions of calcium chloride, potassium dihydrophosphate and sodium fluoride are obtained from the calculation so that in the finished gel means the calcium content is 0.5 %, the phosphorus content is 2 %, the fluorine content is 0.02 % or 0.035 % or 0.05 %. Each of the solutions is mixed with hot 4 % aqueous solution of CMC, cooled, combined, adding a mixture of phosphate and fluoride to calcium, well mixed, correcting the pH of the finished gel using 40 % KOH solution to value of 6.5±0.1. Invention enables to obtain weakly acidic gels containing active ions of calcium, fluorine and phosphate, capable of participating in mineralization processes of tooth enamel. At that, value of fraction of active forms of fluoride ions close to prototype is achieved at lower initial concentrations of sodium fluoride introduced into gel.

EFFECT: gel content of not more than 500 ppm enables prescribing it to children aged 3 to 15 years for home independent use.
